He is the Co-founder and Partner at Galileo Ventures, a leading pre-seed to seed venture capital firm that supports emerging founders targeting billion-dollar markets. With over 20 investments in his portfolio, James has backed innovative companies such as Relevance AI, Build AI, Tixel, Lumi Interactive, and many others.James has a rich history of supporting startups, having co-founded the INCUBATE Startup Program at the University of Sydney, which has helped over 200 startups launch. His experience extends to roles as a lecturer in Technology Venture Creation at the University of Sydney and as a technology consultant and software engineer at companies like Deloitte and Atlassian.James holds a Bachelor of Computer Science & Technology (Honours) from the University of Sydney, where he was recognized with several awards, including the Microsoft Asia Pacific Prize for a Major Software Development Project.
