Vakul Talwar is general manager for Australia and global head of product for onboarding, trading and commerce at Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency exchange and app operating in more than 130 markets. He has led the platform's local growth push, including the 2024 acquisition of Melbourne brokerage Fintek Securities, which let Crypto.com offer Australian users equities trading alongside crypto for the first time. Talwar has been a vocal participant in Australia's crypto regulation debate, commenting publicly as the country moved to tighten digital asset rules through 2025.
